Job Summary

Tittle: Sr. Software Engineer (70325)
Location: PA Pittsburgh (Locals Preferred)
Work Mode: Remote
Duration: Contract to Hire
Years Of Exp Required 15 Years
Function Of the Group : We have two crews. One crew oversees the vendor product and the legacy
report application or report generator. It also includes some interbank cash lending and finally the trading
platform. The other application is brand new and is built custom in house at PNC. We have a consulting
firm onsite helping build it
Industry background: Finance/Banking

Roles and Responsibilities:
Java design & development with Spring boot and micro services. Database design. SQL development.
UNIX design and development.
Modify existing software to correct errors to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and
improve performance.
Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and
measure outcome and consequences of design.
Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software develop
specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
Advise customer about or perform maintenance of software system.
Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.

Must Have Technical Skills: (Min 12 years of exp in all of the below required skills)
