Job Summary

Technical Lead Java & Angular (Leeds UK Hybrid 3 days in office Full Time)

Lead an agile multi disciplinary digital team balancing hands on development with technical leadership.
Work on Java (Spring Boot) and AngularJS / TypeScript codebases delivering new features with Product Owners and Architects.
Use AWS services: ECR ECS Lambda API Gateway S3 DynamoDB Step Functions Apigee.
Work with tooling: GitLab Jenkins Maven Docker SonarQube / Fortify on Demand Cypress / Selenium Karate / Cucumber Jest.
Define and enforce engineering best practices: code reviews CI/CD quality checks and testing standards.
Support live services during office hours: identify troubleshoot and fix issues collaboratively.
Mentor and coach junior developers improving team capability and technical maturity.
Must have graduate level qualification (or equivalent) in Computing / Computer Science or related field.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Developer Associate is mandatory.
Strong problem solving architectural thinking and experience in scalable maintainable systems.
