Electrical Maintenance Engineer Continental Shifts
Job Summary
The role is working a continental shift pattern 12-hour shifts days and nights. The pattern provides for every other weekend off.
Salary: Between 50000 - 55000 inc shift allowance plus benefits.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of production equipment and assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Perform calibrations and corrections on equipment such as load cells and temperature controllers.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs using a CMMS system.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies including but not limited to permits to work pre-work risk assessment and method statements LOTO ATEX.
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering (HNC or equivalent).
- Proven experience in fault finding and troubleshooting on PLCs is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical circuits with the ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of ATEX zoning (desirable but not essential).

Job Description
Job Purpose To provide electrical support to ensure that the
manufacturing process facilities and services are managed
and maintained to a high standard.
Tasks Perform routine and preventive maintenance of
production equipment to ensure a reliable
manufacturing process.
Perform calibration validition and corrections on
equipment such as load cells and temperature
controllers.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production
machinery and supporting equipment. Some of the
core skills/knowledge
Familiarity with PLCs (Siemens preferably) is essential
to aid in the diagnosis process. Experience with
AC/DC drives (primarily Siemens & ABB
predominatley)
Kowledge/experience of Tension control systems
Bus network systems (Profibus Profinet)
Strong technical knowledge of electrical circuits with
the ability to read and understand electrical drawings
Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance
equipment reliability and performance.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
and repairs using a CMMS system.

Required profile
Education keine Profession: Engineer
Professional experience Proven experience in fault finding and troubleshooting on
Siemens PLCs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications required Completed Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or a
related field.
HNC (Higher National Certificate) in Electrical
Engineering or equivalent.
Latest electrical installation standards (desireable but
not essential)
Professional knowledge Strong understanding of electrical systems schematics
and technical drawings.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best
practices.
Knowledge of ATEX zoning (desireable but not essential)
