As a Locum Anesthesiologist you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of children and support our mission to provide high-quality medical services.
Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures
Monitor patients vital signs and respond to any changes in their condition
Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments to evaluate patients medical histories
Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Educate patients and their families about anesthesia processes
Participate in continuous medical education and training programs
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Board certification in Anesthesiology
Experience in pediatric anesthesiology preferred
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Current medical license to practice in the state
Flexible Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 or 10-hour shifts
No call requirement

Diverse pediatric and adult caseload
Will supervise CRNAs and residents

Must be board-certified
