In this role you will be involved in diagnosing and treating patients with heart rhythm disorders collaborating closely with experienced cardiologists and participating in various electrophysiology procedures. Responsibilities
Conduct patient evaluations and assessments in the field of cardiology
Diagnose and manage heart rhythm disorders
Assist in electrophysiology procedures and interventions
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with cardiology specialists
Educate patients about their conditions and treatment options
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
Participate in team meetings and case discussions
Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology and electrophysiology
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
Strong understanding of electrophysiology and related procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
Basic life support (BLS) certification required
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p
No call requirement
Setting: Hospital-based EP clinic and lab
Daily Census: 20-22 patients
Common EP Procedures Required: AblationsLAO WATCHMAN amulets pacemakers etc.
No general cardiology responsibilities
Support Staff: Cardiologists NPs
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
