As a Locum MD or DO you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality emergency medical care to our patients. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to assess diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive timely and effective care in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
Manage emergency situations and respond to critical care needs
Ensure compliance with medical protocols and standards
Participate in continuous education and training programs
Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Active medical license to practice in the state of Florida
Emergency Medicine residency training preferred
1-3 years of experience in emergency medicine (Associate level)
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of current medical practices and emergency protocols
Level II Trauma ACS Level I Trauma
Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
No call
Setting: Hospital ED or free-standing ED
Required Procedures: Central access arterial lines lumbar punctures intubation pacing orthopedic stabilization etc.
Support Staff: APPs
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
