General Responsibilities

• Communicate with the customer in accordance to existing communication guidelines where applicable Execute and fulfill the customer shipment booking on timely and professional manner according to customer requirements and expectation
• Take the full ownership of a customers inquiry and solving their problem with a CAN-Do attitude
• Proactively keep the customer updated on the status of their order until final delivery Proactively react to any kind of irregularity by offering professional knowledge and possible alternative solutions to the customer
• Attentive to details on customer requirements and expectation by careful listening and proactive communication
• Provide accurate precise and quick answers or information to customer inquiry or concern Serve the customer with integrity and embrace the company policy
• Maintain good knowledge on DSV systems processes tools and organization by continuous learning and development. Interface with subcontractors
• Administer proper file opening / closing / checking and preparation for closing.
• Send shipping advice to overseas stations and other stakeholders

Detailed Responsibilities

• Establish local SOPs with shippers/consignees for nominated business where necessary
• Provide quotations of local charges to shippers/consignees for nominated business where necessary. Handle customer inquiry via phone e-mail and face to face meeting
• Check and verify documents (perform due diligence) to ensure full compliance with DSV internal standards and customer requirements (SOP)
• Carry out approved proposed improvement / changes on procedures and systems made by supervisors Execute the shipment booking by following the SOP and quotation
• Inform supervisors of any irregularities or problems that require assistance and to feedback on subcontractors standards and services
• Handles customers inquiries complaints claims follow up verify credit terms and credit status and coordinate with departments concerned on related issues Feedback pre-claim details and status to customers
• Prepare customers statistics and reports upon request Process and create documents including but not limited to air waybills warehouse advise trucking orders invoices and other docs which requested by customers
• Invoicing / verification and posting of incoming invoices Job costing
• Update Track and Trace systems send shipping advice to overseas stations
• Take up additional tasks as assigned Back up for other team members when necessary

Job Requirements

• College Degree or above
• Honest reliable and responsible;
• Positive attitude under high pressure problem solver
• Know how in air / ocean / logistics / SCM
• Skillful of PC & Internet Good command of Mandarin and English
• Software Skills: PPT Excel Word
