Job Summary

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Procurement Professional with strong experience insteel sourcing and vendor management. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement of steel materials optimizing costs ensuring quality and maintaining efficient supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Manageprocurement of steel (TMT structural steel coils sheets etc.)from vendors across India
Identify evaluate and onboardreliable steel suppliers and manufacturers
Negotiate pricing credit terms and delivery schedules to ensurecost efficiency and supply stability
Create and executepurchase plansaligned with project and business requirements
Maintain and monitorinventory levelsto avoid shortages or excess stock
Analyze vendor performance pricing trends and market movements
Ensure accuracy inpurchase orders contracts and pricing records
Coordinate with internal teams (sales logistics finance) for smooth execution
Ensure adherence to procurement policies and compliance standards
Drive improvements in procurement processes and supply chain efficiency

Key Requirements:

3 - 7 years of experience insteel procurement / metals sourcing
Strong understanding ofsteel grades pricing trends and supply markets
Proven experience invendor development and negotiation
Exposure to large-scale procurement and inventory planning
Good analytical and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement tracking systems

Qualification:Graduate/

Preferred Profile:

Candidates fromsteel metals building materials or infrastructure sectors
Strong network withsteel mills traders and distributors
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume procurement environment
