Position Summary:

This role supports the Digital Workplace by building managing monitoring and governing AI-enabled platforms and automation solutions including Microsoft Power Platform Copilot Studio Moveworks or related enterprise platforms.

The Platforms Engineer partners with product owners governance teams and business stakeholders to design deploy and operate AI agents workflow automations and AI-assisted applications that improve productivity decision-making and operational efficiency. The role emphasizes resiliency security reporting and responsible AI practices across enterprise digital workplace services.

This position belongs to a family of jobs with increasing responsibility competency and skill level. Actual position title and pay grade will be based on the selected candidates experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts regular monitoring of infrastructure platforms and systems to identify performance issues or anomalies. Analyzes collected data establishes performance baselines and creates reports to identify trends and potential areas of improvement. Collaborates with System and Solution Architects Senior Platform Engineers Governance Regulatory and Compliance as well as Product Owners to implement performance tuning strategies and optimize platform & system resources for better efficiency. Monitors digital workplace platforms including Power Platform Copilot Studio agents and supporting services to identify performance reliability usage and cost trends. Establishes baselines and reporting to support optimization scalability and AI service health.

  • Documents support requests resolutions and troubleshooting steps. Provides technical support to users troubleshoots and resolves complex hardware and software issues. Applies predefined procedures for platform & systems tuning and optimization using IT Service Management practices. Provides operational support for AI agents Power Apps Power Automate flows and Copilot-based solutions. Troubleshoots automation failures data connection issues permission models and agent behavior using established ITSM practices.

  • Assists with future infrastructure platforms and resiliency planning. Assists in the design & execution of disaster/system recovery and testing processes and standards.

  • Develops and implements reporting frameworks to track and analyze platform and system performance and utilization metrics; creates or leverages existing dashboards and visualizations for monitoring. Develops dashboards and reporting frameworks to track AI agent usage automation outcomes reliability and adoption metrics. Supports leadership visibility into value realization risk and operational health.

  • Contributes to the design and configuration of platform & systems considering scalability performance security aspects and ensures ongoing compliance with original design and configuration. Builds and deploys infrastructure components ensuring proper configuration and integration.

  • Actively participates in knowledge sharing activities such as team meetings presentations or workshops. Collaborates with team members to identify gaps in knowledge and propose solutions to improve documentation and information sharing.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology related field or equivalent experience preferred

  • Two (2) years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate Dataverse Copilot Studio) highly preferred.

  • Experience operating solutions in a governed enterprise environment (intake approval environment strategy ALM) highly preferred.

  • Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365 Azure services or enterprise data sources highly preferred.

  • Low-code or no-code enterprise applications (vibe apps) preferred.

  • Hands-on experience building or managing Copilot Studio Agents AI-assisted workflows or decision support tools and familiarity with responsible AI concepts data protection and security controls preferred.

Travel Required: 25%; based on business need

  • General Programming - Applies a computer language to communicate with computers using a set of instructions and to automate the execution of tasks.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - The process of managing and provisioning infrastructure through code instead of through manual processes.

  • IT Infrastructure Management - Planning design delivery and control of information technology infrastructure.

  • Performance Monitoring - The process of measuring the performance of a system in real time in order to determine problems and identify other factors that may cause problems in the future.

  • Policy Management - The process of creating implementing and maintaining policies and procedures within an organization.

  • Process Automation - Also known as business automation or digital transformation this is the technology-enabled automation of complex business processes. It can streamline a business for simplicity achieve digital transformation increase service quality improve service delivery or contain costs. It consists of integrating applications restructuring labor resources and using software applications throughout the organization.

  • Service Delivery Management - The manner in which an organization provides users access to IT services which include applications data storage and other business resources.

  • Systems Administration - Performs a variety offunctions including user management system monitoring system configuration performance tuning backup and recovery and access control.

  • System Platform- A system platform refers to the underlying foundation or framework that supports and manages the operation of software applications and hardware components within a computing environment. It provides a standardized and cohesive infrastructure allowing for the development deployment and integration of various technologies and services.

  • Systems Testing - The process of testing conducted on a complete integrated system to evaluate the systems compliance with its specified requirements.

  • Systems Integration - The process of linking together various IT systems services and/or software to enable all of them to work functionally together.

  • Troubleshooting - The act or process of discovering and resolving problems disputes or mechanical issues through a systematic usually iterative approach.

  • AI Agent Operations & Lifecycle Management - Designs deploys monitors and retires AI agents across their full lifecycle. Manages environments versions permissions reliability and operational health while ensuring alignment with governance security and responsible AI standards.

  • Power Platform Administration & Governance - Administers Power Platform environments policies and controls. Enforces environment strategy data policies solution management and ALM practices to ensure secure compliant and scalable lowcode and AI solutions.

  • Automation & Orchestration (Power Automate) - Builds and operates automated workflows and orchestration patterns that integrate enterprise systems data sources and AI agents. Ensures automations are reliable auditable and aligned to operational and business outcomes.

  • AI Usage & Value Reporting - Develops reporting and dashboards to measure AI agent usage adoption reliability and value realization. Provides insights to leadership on productivity impact risk cost optimization and operational performance.

  • Secure Low-Code Application Design - Designs lowcode applications and AIenabled solutions using secure-by-design principles. Applies identity access controls data protection and compliance requirements appropriate for enterprise and regulated environments.

  • Enterprise Digital Workplace Platforms - Designs lowcode applications and AIenabled solutions using secure-by-design principles. Applies identity access controls data protection and compliance requirements appropriate for enterprise and regulated environments.
