Job Description:

Position Purpose

The Brand Engagement Specialist is responsible for supporting national events that build brand engage audiences and increase fundraising opportunities. This includes the coordination and standardization of nationally focused and territory-wide events ensuring brand consistency operational excellence and strategic alignment. The role also contributes to the planning and execution of digital initiatives ensuring alignment between events campaigns and fundraising strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan and execute territory-wide fundraising events in collaboration with territorial marketing communications and development teams to achieve revenue and engagement goals.
  • Align event-based fundraising with digital campaign strategies to ensure cohesive messaging timing and use of supporting assets.
  • Optimize fundraising performance by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maximize revenue across event-based and digital initiatives.
  • Develop and manage national tools templates deliverables matrices and best-practice resources to support local and peer-to-peer fundraising events.
  • Ensure consistency by supporting local event delivery within a national framework that aligns brand standards operations and strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate and deliver digital fundraising campaigns managing timelines content deployment and cross-functional execution to meet campaign objectives.
  • Serve as a key liaison for ministry units providing platform support guidance and resources to enable successful local fundraising efforts.
  • Strengthen engagement by supporting third-party and champion-led fundraising encouraging repeat participation and stewarding volunteers sponsors and attendees.
  • Manage relationships with volunteers and external vendors to ensure effective event execution recognition and adherence to budget and marketing plans.
  • Measure and report on event and campaign performance maintaining accurate records analyzing results and leveraging insights to inform continuous improvement.

Education and Experience Qualifications

  • Minimum of 35 years of professional experience in event planning marketing fundraising or public-facing roles.
  • Plan and execute events effectively including logistics timelines and operational coordination.
  • Measure and evaluate event performance applying data analytics and insights to improve outcomes.
  • Lead and support volunteers and staff fostering collaboration and high-quality event delivery.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively demonstrating strong written verbal and customer service skills.
  • Manage multiple priorities independently maintaining organization attention to detail and sound judgment.
  • Apply creative problem-solving producing thoughtful and engaging special event plans and projects.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and integrity adhering to confidentiality standards ethical fundraising practices and The Salvation Armys mission values and flexible work requirements

Compensation:

The target hiring range for this position is $58531.20 to $73174.40 with a maximum of $87817.60.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions internal equity and candidate experience skills and qualifications relevant to the role.
