About the Team

The AI Transformation & Controls (ATAC) team sits at the forefront of redefining how Walmart approaches accounting controls and digital compliance. As a key contributor within this organization you will help shape the future of financial operations by driving automation AI enablement and datadriven insights. Working in close partnership with Controllership Operations and Global Internal Controls (GIC) you will advance the Digital Accountant initiativetransforming traditional accounting activities into streamlined technologypowered processes that enhance accuracy efficiency and compliance.


What Youll Do

• Accelerate Digital Accountant automationby identifying journal entries reconciliations reports and controls primed for digitization while embedding analytics and workflow tools to enhance auditability and operational oversight.
• Partner with Walmart Controllership and Operational Accountingto design and deploy AIpowered automation solutions across critical accounting workflows.
• Lead mentor and elevate the CTS team guiding team members in the use of automation technologies and navigating accounting and control considerations throughout the digitization lifecycle.
• Drive crossfunctional collaborationacross Finance Controllership and Technology teams to integrate accounting processes into innovative digital workflows and enterprise automation initiatives.

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors degree in accounting finance business administration data science computer science or a related field
• Demonstrated experience leading in matrixed or multinational organizational environments
• Strong project management analytical and communication capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with tools such as BigQuery SQL VS Code SAP and BlackLine
• Experience working with automation and analytics platforms
• Exposure to Vibe coding tools and methodologies
• Background in largescale financial transformation or digital compliance programs

The annual salary range for this position is $90000.00 - $180000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
