JOB PURPOSE

Join the BBC Childrens & Education team as a Social Media Executive helping to create social-first content and deliver creative excellence with a strategic managing content across multiple social media accounts to build awareness of CBeebies brands and CBeebies Parenting.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND IMPACT

• Manage campaigns to raise awareness of CBeebies brands and CBeebies Parenting
• Work with internal teams of projects and commissions to produce social-first content and edits
• Work with content creators and influencers to produce social-first content that resonates with our audience
• Use audience data and analytics to inform decision making and performance in line with KPIs
• Keep abreast of current trends and perform ongoing competitor analysis

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE KEY CRITERIA

Essential criteria:

• Experience managing branded social accounts is key youllhave in-depth understanding ofsocial platforms and algorithms
• Proficient editing skills using Adobe Suite (Photoshop and Premiere Pro)
• An understanding of social analytics and how to use data to inform decision making
• The ability to work with wider teams to brief content develop ideas and feed back on performance to stakeholders

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience working with influencers content creators or production companies
• Experience in location-based production and end to end content delivery with confident self-shooting skills
