About the role

Band 4 - base salary from $99189 per annum (plus super) - total package to be negotiated with preferred candidate based on skills and experience

Working to support and combine knowledge across various areas of our business we have a 12-month contract opportunity in our technical standards and practices team.

In this role you will collaborate closely with Field Operations Engineering and various internal teams to develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation. Your expertise will ensure that all technical materials are clear accessible and aligned with industry standards regulatory requirements and TasNetworks strategic goals.

This role supports the Safe Network Access Project (SNAP) a business-critical initiative focused on delivering consistent safe standards that strengthen controls improve switching competency and accountability and reduce the risk of incorrect switching operations.

Working within this project the role is responsible for technical document development aligned to SNAP objectives collaborating with stakeholders to produce clear and fit-for-purpose documentation.

About you

To be successful in this role you will work autonomously and offer sound judgement and decision-making skills with the ability to listen communicate and decipher information from a variety of sources.

You will have experience in content development (or a similar) supported by relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in technical writing or communications.

Attention to detail is key coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Your ability to build and maintain effective relationships across relevant business areas drawing upon your experience in managing end to end production of multimedia content to influence where required will see you succeed in this role.
