Job Summary
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Job Description: This role is responsible for delivering timely accurate and high-quality fund accounting services to private equity and fund clients under the guidance of assigned supervisors. The position focuses on core accounting processes low-complexity ad hoc tasks and standard client deliverables while performing self-reviews to ensure continuous improvement and quality outcomes. The role supports the preparation of NAVs financial statements capital call and distribution workings investor reporting and payment processing as well as onboarding and system conversions of private equity funds onto platforms such as Investran and Paxus. The individual works closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with firm policies regulatory requirements and client service level agreements while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete NAV calculations financial statements with disclosures journal entries capital call and distribution workings investor notices and recurring fund and client reporting within agreed timelines.
- Ensure accuracy completeness and timeliness of all deliverables by acquiring a strong understanding of client agreements scopes of work SLAs and reporting requirements and addressing review comments effectively.
- Support onboarding of new private equity funds and assist with accounting platform conversions to Investran and Paxus including preparation of supporting schedules working papers and management accounts.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies procedures SSAE requirements and risk controls promptly identifying escalating and supporting resolution of errors breaches or operational risks.
- Manage workflow and client communication by monitoring deliverables through workflow tools responding to client investor and internal queries within defined timeframes supporting teammates as required and acting as a backup for senior roles when needed.

Qualifications :
ABOUT YOU:
- Education & Experience: Degree in Accounting Finance or Business Administration with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or hedge fund accounting.
- Systems Expertise: Mandatory hands-on experience with PAXUS with strong capability to manage fund accounting processes using the platform.
- Technical Accounting Skills: Demonstrated expertise in preparing complex financial statements and applying accounting standards and policies independently with minimal supervision.
- Analytical & Execution Strength: Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to deliver accurate high-quality outputs within tight deadlines while managing complex workloads.
- Tools & Organization: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel combined with strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle varying levels of complexity.
