Could you be the full-time hybrid Indirect Buyer in Toronto ON Canadawere looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and sourcing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and results-driven teammates.
Youll play a pivotal role in shaping supplier relationships and driving procurement excellence to support Alstoms operations and projects. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Finance Legal Risk Management and Quality Teams) manage supplier selection processes negotiate contracts and much more.

Well look to you for:

• Setting up full supplier selection processes

• Negotiating financial terms and conditions with current and new suppliers

• Preparing and launching Requests for Quotation with suppliers

• Initiating and managing end-to-end Business Award processes for purchases

• Supporting and deploying commodity strategies including consolidating needs and inputs

• Participating actively in commodity strategy and panel elaboration

• Ensuring effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem-solving

• Representing commodities towards projects platforms and solutions

• Performing and following up on daily Purchase Order (PO) creation verification and signature as necessary.

• Degree in Engineering or Business (Procurement desired)

• Experience in sourcing processes including contract management subcontracts and purchase orders

• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)

• Familiarity with end-to-end procurement processes from supplier onboarding through invoice approval

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work in a matrix environment

• Rigorous and structured approach to tasks

• International mindset and adaptability to diverse environments.
