Job Summary
Companion Caregiver Needed Cutchogue NY (Seasonal Position)
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide companion care for a pleasant elderly gentleman with dementia in Cutchogue NY.
Position Details:
Start Date: Tuesday May 26 2026 (the day after Memorial Day)
End Date: Friday September 4 2026 (through Labor Day weekend)
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Responsibilities Include:
Providing companionship and social engagement
Assisting with daily routines and structure
Light meal preparation
Light housekeeping related to client care
Ensuring a safe calm and supportive environment
Ideal Candidate:
Has experience working with individuals with dementia (preferred)
Patient kind and dependable
Strong communication skills
Able to maintain a consistent routine and provide reassurance
