Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Actuary to join our this role you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating financial risks for our clients developing strategies to mitigate those risks and providing expert advice to support their financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics statistics and finance as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify potential risks and develop strategies to manage them

- Use advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to create models and projections for various financial scenarios

- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop and implement risk management plans

- Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients on financial decisions such as investments and insurance coverage

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in all work

- Communicate complex financial concepts and analyses to clients in a clear and concise manner

- Work with other members of the team to continuously improve and enhance our services and processes

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Mathematics Statistics Actuarial Science or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Actuary preferably in a consulting or financial services environment

- Strong knowledge of actuarial principles financial markets and risk management strategies

- Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as SAS R or Python

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex data sets

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment

- Must be a certified Actuary (FSA ASA or ACAS)
