Position: Design Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $67$75/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author review and annotate technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on design problems.
- Produce original problem sets grounded in design mockups wireframes typography systems and industrial drawings.
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure task quality and relevance.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in Design or related field or MFA in Design with 3 years applied design teaching or research experience or BFA/BA in Design with 5 years applied industrial graphic UX or product design experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: industrial design graphic design UX product design design research.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting design mockups wireframes typography systems and industrial drawings.
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
