Position: Personal Finance Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65$90/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Build long-horizon personal finance tasks with deterministic rubrics for agent performance evaluation.
• Develop scenarios in day-to-day money management including transaction categorization and budget reconciliation.
• Create tax and planning tasks like tax packet assembly and net worth rollups with computable totals.
• Design consumer finance scenarios such as credit card comparisons and billing disputes with valid outcomes.
• Work independently and asynchronously to produce challenging scenarios requiring focused sessions.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 3 years in personal finance tax prep bookkeeping or wealth advisory.
• Expertise in tax preparation (TurboTax or equivalent) budgeting systems (Mint Monarch Copilot) or personal bookkeeping (QuickBooks).
• Familiarity with US tax rules and credit card and rewards ecosystems.
• Ability to read and produce personal finance artifacts: budgets tax packets dispute letters portfolio summaries.
• Clear written communication; articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics.

Preferred

• CFP EA CPA or equivalent.
