Position: Public Health Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $85$93/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on public health problems.
• Produce original problem sets using epidemiologic charts surveillance data and population health figures.
• Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to improve training data quality and model outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• PhD or DrPH in Epidemiology Biostatistics Health Policy or related field or MD/DO with MPH and 3 years of public health practice or MPH with 5 years in applied epidemiology surveillance or health policy.
• Working fluency in at least two of: epidemiologic study design biostatistics infectious disease chronic disease or health policy.
• Comfortable with epi curves forest plots and surveillance dashboards.

Preferred

• Experience in government NGO or academic public health track.
