Position: Galician Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50/hour
Commitment: 1020 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Galician. Ensure clarity accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
• Produce high-quality written outputs in Galician and support work in English as needed.
• Define and document evaluation standards for general consumer audio contexts. Develop evaluation rubrics in Galician and English.
• Conduct model testing and grading. Evaluate outputs for accuracy completeness and fluency.
• Support benchmarking and quality assurance. Participate in QA cycles to ensure consistency and reliability.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Strong writing editing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Native or near-native fluency in Galician (spoken and written) and professional fluency in English.
• Ability to transcribe and analyze Galician audio content.
• Available to commit 1020 hours per week.

Preferred

• College students or recent graduates.
• Background in linguistics humanities social sciences journalism or technical disciplines.
• Experience with transcription annotation localization evaluation or research workflows in Galician.
• Familiarity with dialectal variations and contemporary usage.
• Interest in AI language models or applied research environments.
