We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Payroll Consultant with deep New Zealand payroll expertise and strong handson delivery experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

The role requires a senior practitioner who has personally delivered multiple endtoend payroll implementations can work independently and is comfortable being handson across design configuration testing cutover and golive is a deliveryfocused role not advisory only.

This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Aotearoa. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Ko Tō Rourou Your key responsibilities

  • Deliver endtoend New Zealand payroll implementations in SAP SuccessFactors ECP including handson configuration golive and hypercare support.
  • Lead payroll functional design translating business and legislative requirements into compliant system configuration and payroll processing logic.
  • Act as the SME for New Zealand payroll compliance covering PAYE and IRD payday filing KiwiSaver leave and entitlements terminations and offcycle payrolls.
  • Lead payroll testing cutover and golive activities including SIT parallel runs UAT data validation and reconciliation.
  • Partner with Payroll HR Finance and technical teams to support delivery EC to ECP integration issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Ngā Pūkenga Skills and attributes for success

  • 10 years handson NewZealand payroll experience including multiple endtoend implementations and complex payroll transformation programmes.
  • Proven SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) delivery experience with strong handson configuration capability across at least two ECP implementations.
  • Deep expertise in NewZealand payroll legislation compliance EC to ECP integration and endtoend payroll processing testing and cutover.
  • Strong consulting practitioner with excellent problemsolving skills able to work independently own delivery and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Ideally youll also have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your aptitude attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Experience across ANZ payroll environments with exposure to different legislative and operational requirements.
  • Exposure to payroll optimisation or postimplementation stabilisation including issue resolution and process improvement.
  • SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP HCM certifications
