Cytotechnologist

Labcorp is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join our team inPhoenix AZ.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a Chemical or Biological Science Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
• Completion of an accredited Cytology program
• ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification

PreferredQualification:

• Current or prior Labcorp experience
• 1 yearoremoreof prior experience working in Cytology
• ThinPrepandSurePathcertifications

Additional Job Standards

• Demonstrated understanding ofCytopreparation techniques
• Automated and non-automated testing experience
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
• Able topass slide screening requirements and annual CAPproficiencytest
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail
• Strong communicationskills; both written and verbal
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
