Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Lead Cloud Platform Engineer 100% remote to design develop and manage the AWS cloud platform infrastructure supporting missioncritical meteorological web this role you will architect secure scalable and resilient cloud environments that enable highperformance application deployment while ensuring reliability observability and compliance with federal standards.

What You Will Do:

Design and implement secure scalable AWS cloud architecture that strengthens platform reliability and performance
Drive IaC automated provisioning and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and reduce manual effort
Lead containerization orchestration and DevOps practices to improve deployment speed and consistency
Implement monitoring logging and optimization strategies to enhance system visibility and reduce downtime
Architect highavailability networking and disaster recovery solutions that ensure mission continuity
Define governance security controls and platform standards to improve compliance and operational excellence
Partner with application teams and mentor engineers to elevate overall cloud engineering capability
Maintain clear platform documentation to support efficient operations and knowledge transfer

Heres What Youll Need:

Bachelors degree and 5 years of handson experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering
Strong proficiency with InfrastructureasCode and automation tools
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and secure cloud architectures

Bonus points if You Have:

Masters degree in a related technical field and/or experience with scientific or meteorological data applications
Experience with geospatial or advanced browserbased visualization technologies (WebGL Canvas GIS tools)
Familiarity with meteorological data formats
Knowledge of microservices containerization cloud cost optimization and multiregion deployments

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience.
