POSITION SUMMARY
This positionis responsible forteaching in the Associate Degree Respiratory Care Program. Under the supervision of the Program Director the full-time 12-month faculty member provides high-quality instruction and supports student learning in the classroom lab and clinical settings. The instructor designs delivers evaluates and updates curriculum and related instructional materials. Responsibilities include supporting student progress through advisement remediation and referral as needed. The faculty member serves as aprogramliaison and contributes to accreditation and regulatory activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
TheInstructor:
Teachesassigned courses andpreparesinstructional materials including lectures presentations labs and clinical activities.
Usesassessments to evaluate student achievement of course and program outcomes.
Providestimelyfeedback to support student success.
Prepares andsubmitsrequired documentation such as syllabi attendance and final grades.
Shares information with students aboutCollegeservices and resources.
Pursues professional development to remain current in the field.
Participates in committees serves as an advisor and mentors faculty as needed.
Assistsprogram faculty in course development and program improvement.
Performsadditionalduties and projects that support the Colleges mission and values.

Supervises and assesses students during clinical experiences.

Minimum Qualifications
TheInstructor:
Holds a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited institution
Possesses an active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Has 5 years of clinical experience as an RRT
Is eligible for or holds a Tennessee RRT license
Preferred Qualifications
TheInstructor:
Has post-secondary teaching experience
Holds aMasters Degreefrom an accredited institution
UnderstandsCoARCaccreditation standards
Holdsadditionalcredentials (e.g. ACCS RPFT/CPFT NPS AC-E)
Possesses or is eligible for a Tennessee RRT license
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Faculty positions are based on a 12-month contract
A typical workweek includes37.5 hours with at least 30 hours on campus
Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills
Maintains punctuality and professionalism
Salary Range: $55269 - $67697
