Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Hackensack NJ
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks with possibility of extension)

Schedule:

• Shift Options:
  • Night Shift: 10:00 PM 8:00 AM (4x10-hour shifts)
  • Day Shift: 8:00 AM 8:30 PM
• Weekends & Holidays: As needed
• On-Call: Not required

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling emergency and trauma cases operating independently and delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with minimal supervision
• Position patients and select appropriate technical factors for imaging
• Operate radiologic equipment and ensure high-quality imaging results
• Perform portable X-ray exams in patient rooms OR and emergency settings
• Assist physicians with contrast procedures as needed
• Follow radiation safety protocols and minimize patient exposure
• Accurately document and label imaging studies
• Maintain organized work areas and ensure equipment readiness
• Assist patients with mobility and positioning during procedures
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and record maintenance

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
• Experience in Emergency Room Trauma and Operating Room settings required
• Experience with portable imaging and pediatric patients required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Certifications & Licensure:

• ARRT certification required
• New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist license required
• Must be eligible to meet National Registry requirements
