Night Shift: 10:00 PM 8:00 AM (4x10-hour shifts)
Day Shift: 8:00 AM 8:30 PM
Weekends & Holidays: As needed
On-Call: Not required
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling emergency and trauma cases operating independently and delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures with minimal supervision
Position patients and select appropriate technical factors for imaging
Operate radiologic equipment and ensure high-quality imaging results
Perform portable X-ray exams in patient rooms OR and emergency settings
Assist physicians with contrast procedures as needed
Follow radiation safety protocols and minimize patient exposure
Accurately document and label imaging studies
Maintain organized work areas and ensure equipment readiness
Assist patients with mobility and positioning during procedures
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and record maintenance
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
Experience in Emergency Room Trauma and Operating Room settings required
Experience with portable imaging and pediatric patients required
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Certifications & Licensure:
ARRT certification required
New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist license required
Must be eligible to meet National Registry requirements
