Job Summary**

Responsible for programming setting up and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect complex parts and assemblies ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop and write CMM programs using PC-DMIS from 3D models blueprints and engineering specifications.
* Set up and calibrate CMM equipment fixtures and probes for inspection routines.
* Operate CMM to perform dimensional inspections of components sub-assemblies and finished products.
* Interpret and analyze inspection data generating detailed inspection reports and identifying non-conformances.
* Collaborate with engineering manufacturing and quality teams to troubleshoot measurement issues and improve inspection processes.
* Maintain and perform minor preventative maintenance on CMM equipment.
* Participate in first article inspections (FAI) in-process inspections and final inspections.
* Ensure all inspection activities comply with established quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100).
* Train and mentor junior operators on CMM operation and basic programming.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of inspection methods and technologies.

Job Qualifications**

* High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associates Degree in Quality Engineering Technology or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CMM Programmer Operator in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in CMM programming software such as PC-DMIS
* Strong understanding manufacturing processes CNC Milling EDM and plastic injection mold assembly and operation.
* Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints schematics and 3D models.
* Experience with various measurement tools and techniques (e.g. micrometers calipers height gauges optical comparators).
* Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed.

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.01 - $28.08. Job-related non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience geographic location education external market data and consideration of internal equity.
