Job Summary
Are you passionate about creating great food and being part of a high-energy kitchen team Regency at Dominion Valley is looking for a skilled and dependable Cook to support both our restaurant and banquet operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in quality consistency and teamwork wed love to meet you.
Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 / hr. Part Time and Full Time available
What Youll Be Doing:
As a Cook youll play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for both daily service and special events. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing food items according to recipes production needs and quality standards
- Assisting with both à la carte restaurant service and banquet production
- Prepping ingredients ahead of service while minimizing waste
- Maintaining proper food labeling dating rotation and storage practices
- Setting up your station based on pars and anticipated business levels
- Monitoring inventory and communicating shortages or needs
- Receiving and properly storing deliveries from vendors
- Supporting food cost control by reducing waste and following standards
- Assisting with monthly inventory and food audits
- Helping maintain a clean safe and organized kitchen environment
- Pitching in wherever neededincluding supporting our banquets and events
What Were Looking For:
- At least 2 years of kitchen or restaurant experience
- Ability to work across multiple service styles (restaurant banquets)
- Strong work ethic and reliability (transportation required)
- A team player who communicates clearly and works well under pressure
- Organized detail-oriented and committed to food safety standards
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years or older
