Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Respiratory Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bedford IN.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer oxygen therapy and breathing treatments
- Operate ventilators and respiratory care equipment
- Monitor patient respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Perform patient assessments and document respiratory care interventions
- Ensure proper setup and maintenance of respiratory equipment
- Respond to emergency respiratory situations when required
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
- Adhere to hospital safety infection control and care protocols
Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- State license (Indiana or compact license)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- 12 years of acute care experience required
