THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN WOMELSDORF PA

1st shift - Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Summary/Objective

The warehouse order picker position is responsible for the safe and accurate gathering of customer orders. Must be self-motivated to select orders accurately and at an efficient pace. The order selector will pull cases and palletize them in the order specified to provide the best customer service.

Essential Functions

• Manage all pick orders and provide correct labels on products and prepare pick sheets for all orders and assist personnel to load and unload all containers for export.
• Verify all outbound shipments and ensure all damage free goods and provide accurate labels on all products prior to shipment.
• Handle and operate all mechanize equipment such as forklift/pallet jack and processes all order effectively.
• Organize all orders for shipment and operate all shrink wrap machines and operate various material handling machines effectively.
• Evaluate all amounts of orders and ensure proper weights are entered for products on the shipment.
• Maintain optimal level of security at warehouse and prepare all paperwork for various agencies.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job the warehouse order picker is frequently exposed to a refrigerated warehouse environment (34) which includes the operation of powered industrial equipment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the warehouse order picker is regularly required to talk hear stand walk lift carry push pull and operate equipment as needed.

Salary Based on Experience - Starting at $20.00
