Schedule/Shifts: Monday- Thursday 3-11pm

Location: 100 bed Trauma 3 Hospital in Alexandria MN.

Pay rate: $75 to $85/ Hour depending on experience

*This is 10 week temporary assignment beginning 6/15/26

What we ask of you:

• Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations including general vascular and OB/Gyn for the ED and any STAT in-patient requests.
• For OB experience sonographer must be comfortable with OB 1st Trimester Biophysical profiles AFI cord doppler and growth checks. No OB surveys or Level 2 exams are required for this role.
• Review the requisition for examination in order to be aware of procedure requested clinical history patient condition or special requirements and use cognitivesonographic skills to execute procedures as appropriate to anatomical pathological and diagnostic information and images.
• Use independentjudgement during the sonographic exam to differentiate between normal and pathologic findings and initiate additional ultrasound imaging procedures facilitate optimum diagnostic results.
• Analyse sonograms synthesize sonographic information and medical history and communicate findings to the physician.
• Maintain a positive attitude and working relationships with radiology team follow physician instructions precisely and accurately maintain patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Maintain a clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers and maintain ultrasound equipment in good working order clean and disinfect after each use. Maintain adequate supplies as needed.
• Complete exam billing and help supervisor gain support for unit goals and plans.
• All other duties as assigned.

What we require of you:

• A minimum of 5 years performing sonography including general vascular OB/GYN.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic MedicalSonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
• Active certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is preferred.
• Advanced registry in Vascular Abdomen OB and Breast imaging is preferred.
• Experience with Canon i800 equipment.
