Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused EUC/Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in End User Computing (EUC) Desktop Support POS systems and basic Network Support along with fluency in both Japanese and English to support a diverse user base.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite and remote support for desktops laptops and peripherals.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and operating system issues (Windows/Mac).
Install configure and maintain POS (Point of Sale) systems.
Support network connectivity issues including LAN/WAN Wi-Fi VPN and basic switching.
Handle incident management service requests and ticket updates via ITSM tools.
Perform user account management (Active Directory password resets access control).
Support printers scanners AV equipment and mobile devices.
Coordinate with global IT teams and vendors for escalations.
Ensure timely resolution as per SLA/KPI targets.
Maintain documentation and asset inventory.
Required Skills & Qualifications
37 years of experience in EUC/Desktop Support / IT Support roles.
Strong knowledge of:
Windows OS (Windows 10/11) Microsoft Office 365
POS systems support
Basic networking (TCP/IP DNS DHCP)
Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow Remedy Jira etc.)
Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
Familiarity with remote support tools.
Language Skills:
Japanese: Business level (JLPT N2 or above preferred)
English: Professional working proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA A Network Microsoft certifications.
Experience in retail or enterprise environments.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.

Work Environment
Onsite role in Tokyo Japan.
May require occasional after-hours or weekend support based on business needs.
Additional Information

Valid work authorization for Japan is required.
