Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Ultrasound Technologist with 25 years of experience to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality imaging supporting physicians during examinations and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols
Prepare patients for procedures and explain exam processes clearly
Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal imaging results
Ensure patient safety and follow all necessary precautions during procedures
Maintain clean and perform minor adjustments on ultrasound equipment
Ensure adequate supplies are available for daily operations
Capture and transfer images to PACS for physician review
Assist radiologists during procedures as needed
Support scheduling phone handling and coordination of patient flow
Mentor and assist in training new ultrasound staff
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Registered with ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
Strong experience with prostate ultrasound procedures
Hands-on experience with VU Ultrasound System (required)
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail accuracy and professionalism
Education Requirements:
Associates Degree or equivalent required
Certifications:
ARRT (preferred)
BLS Certification (required)
