Commvault is seeking a SaaS Inside Sales Engineer with Fluent German Language skills to be responsible for orchestrating pre-sales engagement to current and prospective clients. This individual will provide pre-sales technical support for Commvault Sales and partner sales teams. Primary responsibilities including but not limited to; customer/partner conference calls conducting of demonstrations (promotional and educational) and presentations design creation licensing assistance remote POC support RFI/RFP support assistance with automation and enablement tool development assistance with development of internal systems and processes development of technical training materials and documentation.

What Youll Do:

  • Providing technical expertise to design and sell a solution in collaboration with Inside Sales Rep lead generation and the customer.
  • Anticipate technology trends and successfully build strong relationships with partners and internal departments (sales support business units product management marketing development and customer success) as appropriate to ensure success during sales campaigns and/or to ensure the customer experience is extremely positive
  • Embrace calling on senior level IT leadership engage with the customer to qualify and understand key technical financial operational and business issues that can be addressed with any one or all of Commvaults SaaS products.
  • Proactive in building relationships with technical decision makers within end-user accounts and with internal virtual teams
  • Distill the pre-sales discovery into a concise message outlining the technical business operational and financial inefficiencies/challenges that Commvault addresses with its SaaS products.
  • Collaborate with the creation and presentation of a business case to any and all business sponsors (i.e. C-level executives technical partners etc.) in support of the Commvault solution.
  • Propose and professionally demonstrate Commvault SaaS products in a virtual way through the use of presentations existing customer solutions demos white boarding pilots proof-of-concepts etc. with use of digital technology
  • Continuously develop and maintain technical and market expertise through training certifications conferences etc.
  • Keep senior management and relevant internal groups informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results through business reviews and documentation
  • Provide feedback on potential product or process improvements to appropriate internal groups and participate where necessary in formulating innovative solutions
  • Support various marketing initiatives through content creation and delivery. Support various marketing initiatives through content creation and delivery
  • Support internal and external teams with both developing and responding to RFPs that highlight the technical capabilities of Commvault solutions
  • SoW ensuring engineering to delivery is all covered

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 2 years in Sales Engineering / Presales role in SaaS cloud software or storage industry
  • Good presenting skills supporting customers.
  • Market awareness of upcoming trends and competing solutions
  • Comfortable with talking about technology and business
  • Ideally customer facing experience with presenting demonstrating delivering PoCs
  • Ability to work in a rapid growth environment where priorities roles and responsibilities are continuously updated to meet market and customer demands
  • Knowledge/skills and demonstrated proficiency with at least one major technology; operating systems VMs cloud databases K8s or Microsoft 365
  • Excellent written presentation and communication skills; ability to build and maintain business relationships.
  • Ability to work in an organized procedural manner using tools such as to facilitate process and information organization
  • Relevant Industry certification(s) cloud as a preference
  • An ability to demonstrate an understanding of the sales cycle
  • Fluent German and English language skills
