Job Title:
Junior Mechatronics Technician

Responsibilities:

Ensure PLC and SCADA systems are fully operational to minimise downtime and faults within the refinery.
Evaluate and analyse failures in hardware software and control systems.
Implement PLC programming changes maintain backups of electronic files and update technical drawings as required.
Install troubleshoot repair modify calibrate and adjust electrical electronic and pneumatic process control systems across production laboratory office and utility areas.
Perform PLC HMI SCADA and industrial robot programming (Fanuc/Kawasaki) including installation of work cells and panel wiring.
Conduct fault finding and repairs on PLCs industrial robots (Fanuc/Kawasaki) servo drives HMIs and related equipment.
Perform parameter and software backups for plant machinery including axis drives and Cognex cameras.
Supervise and support departmental associates and assistants effectively.
Ensure strict adherence to SHEQ legislation including safety standards and machine maintenance and complete safety documentation as required.
Assist with new installations commissioning and testing of equipment.
