Job Summary
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and international candidates across hospitals nursing homes home care and community care settings.
We are currently partnering with a client in County Roscommon who is seeking a Physiotherapist to join their team in a nursing home setting.
- Assess plan and deliver individualised physiotherapy treatment programmes tailored to residents needs.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic person-centred care.
- Monitor residents progress and adjust treatment plans to optimise mobility function and independence.
- Facilitate both one-to-one and group therapy sessions aimed at maintaining and enhancing physical wellbeing.
- Support residents in goal-setting providing motivation and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Maintain accurate timely and comprehensive documentation of all assessments treatments and progress notes.
- Ensure all physiotherapy interventions are delivered in line with best practice while upholding residents dignity privacy and individual preferences.
- Maintain a clean safe and organised therapy environment ensuring all equipment adheres to infection control and safety standards.
- Participate in audits inspections and governance processes as required.
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Physiotherapy (BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent).
- Registration with CORU is essential.
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience preferably in elderly care healthcare or a residential setting.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and motivated approach with a strong focus on resident-centred care.
- Full Irish drivers licence is essential.
