Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and international candidates across hospitals nursing homes home care and community care settings.

We are currently partnering with a client in County Roscommon who is seeking a Physiotherapist to join their team in a nursing home setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess plan and deliver individualised physiotherapy treatment programmes tailored to residents needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic person-centred care.
  • Monitor residents progress and adjust treatment plans to optimise mobility function and independence.
  • Facilitate both one-to-one and group therapy sessions aimed at maintaining and enhancing physical wellbeing.
  • Support residents in goal-setting providing motivation and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Maintain accurate timely and comprehensive documentation of all assessments treatments and progress notes.
  • Ensure all physiotherapy interventions are delivered in line with best practice while upholding residents dignity privacy and individual preferences.
  • Maintain a clean safe and organised therapy environment ensuring all equipment adheres to infection control and safety standards.
  • Participate in audits inspections and governance processes as required.



Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Physiotherapy (BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent).
  • Registration with CORU is essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience preferably in elderly care healthcare or a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and motivated approach with a strong focus on resident-centred care.
  • Full Irish drivers licence is essential.
