What youll do

Cloud Infrastructure Development

• Develop and extend the cloud infrastructure layer for Cloud Foundry environments (BOSH and Kubernetes-based) across AmazonWeb Services Google Cloud Platform Azure Alibaba and OpenStack
• Design and build proprietary infrastructure components that form the platforms core
• Provision and configure load balancers routing services jump hosts and other foundational services following Infrastructure as Code principles
• Evaluate and adopt core IaaS services across providers to best serve the platforms needs

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

• Embed security best practices and compliance into every step of the development lifecycle
• Research emerging technologies or engineering approaches and influence their adoption within the team or organisation
• Collaborate with teams across the organisation responsible for different platform components
• Work with service and application teams from other organisations and global locations
• Support and mentor colleagues at different experience levels

CI/CD & Automation

• Develop and improve the Continuous Delivery infrastructure based on Jenkins Concourse and GitHub
• Implement and support observability capabilities using tools like Grafana Dynatrace and Prometheus
• Drive automation end-to-end manual processes should be the exception not the norm

What you bring

What we expect

• 3 years writing production code in at least two of: Bash Python Ruby Go
• 5 years working with Linux/Unix-based systems
• Solid understanding of modern cloud architectures and development youve built infrastructure following Infrastructure as Code principles or troubleshot production setups on at least one major cloud provider
• Strong networking knowledge and experience: TCP/IP DNS routing load balancing
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins GitHub Actions Concourse or similar) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
• Monitoring and observability experience (Grafana Prometheus Elastic or similar)
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Equivalent professional experience is equally valued
• Fluency in English

• Experience with multiple IaaS providers (AmazonWeb Services Google Cloud Platform Azure)
• Familiarity with Cloud Foundry
• Experience with large-scale Kubernetes operations
• Exposure to secrets management (Vault) and security-in-pipeline practices
