Position Summary

The incumbent provides end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle including recruitment hiring onboarding and performance management. The role prepares HR documentation supports employee relations and disciplinary processes in collaboration with union partners and advises on legislation collective agreements and employment contracts. It also delivers workforce data and payroll insights supports disability case management under the HR Manager and may maintain payroll accuracy and process bi-weekly payroll.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management (or related field with Human Resource Management certificate)
Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation preferred
A combination of education and experience may be considered

Minimum of 1-2 years human resources experience in a unionized environment
Two (2) years of full range benefits management experience required
Experience working in community health preferably with the communities Mount Carmel Clinic serves
Experience providing human resources support with an intersectional approach
Experience with HRIS / HRMS implementation of HRIS experience preferred
