The opportunity
Were looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support the delivery of complex IT initiatives and help Agile teams perform at their this role youll work with multiple Scrum teams promote continuous improvement and help align ways of working with broader organizational priorities.
As a senior member of the Scrum Master community youll act as a trusted coach and collaborative partner to delivery teams and stakeholders across IT and the business. Training mentoring and supporting scrum teams and junior Scrum Masters to follow agile values principles and practices.
What youll do
Facilitate all Scrum events (daily standups sprint planning reviews refinements and retrospectives) for one or more Agile teams
Support the delivery of complex initiatives that may involve multiple systems teams or stakeholder groups
Identify surface and help resolve risks issues dependencies and blockers collaborating beyond the Scrum team as needed
Monitor team progress and provide clear meaningful updates to delivery and leadership partners
Coach and mentor Agile teams and less experienced Scrum Masters in Agile values practices and continuous improvement
Foster strong collaboration and transparency between technology teams business partners and stakeholders
Contribute to broader conversations around Agile maturity ways of working and process improvement across IT
What you bring
A postsecondary degree or diploma in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 5 years of experience working in an Agile environment as a Scrum Master or Project Manager
Demonstrated experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting teams delivering complex work
Strong knowledge of Agile principles and Scrum practices
Proven coaching facilitation and relationshipbuilding skills
Experience using Agile delivery and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira Miro or similar)
Strong communication problemsolving and organizational skills
English proficiency
Experience that would support success in this role
Experience supporting multiple Agile teams or working in a scaled or enterprise environment
Scrum Master certification (CSM or equivalent); advanced or scaled Agile certifications (e.g. SAFe) are considered an asset
Experience in regulated or complex organizational settings
Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B). This includes Fingerprinting Criminal Record Check Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
