Director of Programs Gateway Resources

As we continue toempower those we serve we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced leaderto join our team in the role of Director of Programs.
This leadership position calls for a creativeand focused professional who can effectively develop and deliver high-qualityservices inspire and lead teams and demonstrate integrity and transparencyacross the Program Division and the organization.
KeyResponsibilities
The Director of Programs is responsible forbut not limited to:
- Providing strategic oversight of all Day Program Services including the Seniors Program Social Enterprise Life Skills programming and kitchen operations
- Leading the development delivery management and evaluation of programs that support individuals in achieving their personal goals
- Fostering strong communication and collaboration with internal teams external partners Community Living disABILITY Services (CLdS) and individuals support networks
- Advocating on behalf of individuals supported by Gateway Resources
- Preparing proposals funding applications and grant submissions
- Representing the organization through community involvement including committees fundraising initiatives and events
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in Social Services Disability Studies Community Support or a related field
- 35 years of experience in the social services sector including supervisory or management experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills with a results-oriented approach
- Experience with budgeting and financial oversight
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint) and payroll systems
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational communication and leadership abilities
- A valid Manitoba Class 5 drivers licence and access to a personal vehicle as required
- Emergency First Aid/CPR with AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A clear Criminal Record Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills; additional languages are considered an asset
