Location: Gainesville FL
Job Type: Full-time / Direct Hire
Shift & Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts Days (7a7p) or Nights (7p7a) Rotating Weekends

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Med-Surg for an exciting Travel or Local job in Gainesville FL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Float across multiple Med-Surg units based on staffing needs
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish care plans
• Manage patient assignments with ratios up to 7:1
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Advocate for patient safety privacy and quality care
• Deliver care based on established treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year current acute care Med-Surg experience required
• Must be actively working in a Med-Surg setting
• Active Florida RN license or Compact License (FL required within 60 days)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days
• Must reside within 60 minutes of facility
• Ability to manage up to 7:1 patient ratio
• Must pass AHCA Level 2 background screening
