Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under the direction of the Team Lead this individual will ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and on-time performance.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Ensure all parts are properly painted and work instructions are followed precisely
• Operate all coating equipment including guns hoppers and booth collection systems
• Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects
• Determine flow and coating quality by performing visual inspections
• Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations
• Ensure spray efficiencies are meeting KPIs based on quoted levels
• Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and on-time performance
• Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout the facility
• Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment
• Ensure proper cleaning by removing waster powder and maintenance of equipment
• Train new associates powder coating operations and techniques
• Perform other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Manufacturing experience helpful
• Requires the ability to read write speak and understand English
• Effective verbal communication skills with a positive attitude
• Highly dependable exhibits initiative maximizes use of time accountable to their teammates and Line Lead in a fast-paced production environment
• Use good judgement and independent thinking to produce high quality efficiently and safely

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms hands fingers legs and moving your whole body such as lifting balancing walking stooping handling of materials and operating machinery
• Carrying & lifting 10 - 75 Pounds frequently
• Ability to endure hours exposed to heat
• Ability to move and transfer products with an overhead crane
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
• Must be able to pass a general respirator medical evaluation

1st Shift - 5:00 AM -1:30 PM (With overtime as required)
