Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Clinical Manager Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Sebring FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee 24-hour ICU operations and ensure adherence to clinical standards
- Coordinate patient care for a 33-bed ICU unit with overflow capacity
- Lead recruitment evaluation and development of nursing staff
- Promote a culture of teamwork accountability and professional growth
- Monitor and improve unit quality metrics and performance outcomes
- Serve as a clinical mentor and resource for nursing staff
- Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership
- Ensure compliance with ANA standards and hospital policies
- Manage staffing workflow and operational efficiency
- Facilitate communication across departments and care teams
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years ICU clinical nursing experience in acute care
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience (Charge Nurse Supervisor or Manager role)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; higher degree preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) required within 90 days
