Scope:

• The Plasma Operator is responsible for operating equipment containing an electrical mixture of gas that removes resin from printed circuit boards (PCBs). Operators will work around and handle hazardous chemicals and training will be provided

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Run press set-up operation shutdown and emergency shutdown

• Load/lift panels into machine

• Verify correct cycles and temperature controls based on work instructions

• Complete daily cleaning preventative maintenance and temperature log sheets to ensure completion and compliance

• Operate pin router to extract sections of the PCBs for quality control checks

• Follow all departmental process procedures correctly

• Complete all departmental documentation accurately

• Complete quality checks when product arrives in and exits the department

• Perform other tasks as assigned by management and cross-train as needed to assist production

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to read write and communicate effectively

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted

• Ability to stand for the duration of shift

• Ability to read and understand blueprints customer specifications and procedures

• Basic math problem solving interpersonal skills and computer skills

• Must possess interpersonal problem solving and communication skills

• Follow all safety measures

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Previous PCB experience preferred

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location role skill set and level of experience. As required by local law TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York California and Colorado. For California-based roles compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
