Job Summary

As an experienced Project Manager in our Health & Safety practice group you will play a crucial role on our Environmental Health & Safety consulting team contributing to the success of our projects and helping us deliver outstanding results to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings
  • Leadership of a technical or project-related team
  • Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
  • Manage projects (scope schedule budget)
  • Mentor junior level staff
  • Understand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies
  • Perform or assist in technical and field work on safety and industrial hygiene-related projects including but not limited to:
  • Safety program development and review
  • Machine guarding assessments
  • Energy control procedure development
  • Process safety management (PSM) and risk management planning program (RMP) development and program auditing and process hazard analysis (PHA).
  • Developing and conducting safety training to include Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) confined space fall protection hazardous waste and emergency response (HAZWOPER)
  • Facility auditing and inspections regulatory and third-party (ISO ANSI etc.) standards
  • Employee exposure assessments
  • Noise dosimetry and sounds pressure level surveys
  • Industrial hygiene exposure assessments for a variety of industries including aerospace manufacturing and oil & gas.
  • Indoor air quality assessments (mold VOCs CO CO2 etc.)
  • Ventilation studies
  • Various assessments including PPE LOTO confined spaces heat stress cold stress etc.
  • Preparation of reports and other work-related documents.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong organization and customer service skills.
  • Ability to exceed client expectations while thriving in a time critical / dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word Excel Outlook SharePoint.
  • Ability to create maintain and communicate project budgets

Qualifications

  • BS degree or higher in Safety Industrial Hygiene Occupational Health/Safety Safety or Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) Safety Health & Environmental Professional (SHEP) or Specialist in Safety & Health (SSH) preferred
  • 5-8 years of direct safety compliance and/or industrial hygiene experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidance as they apply to industrial energy and commercial clients.
  • Detail-oriented motivated analytical thinker problem solver with a driven work ethic.
  • Excellent technical writing public speaking communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

$73000.00 - $109000.00
