What Youll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager this role plays a key part in the smooth operation of our livestock sales and branch administration. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing Livestock sales; predominantly looking after Saleyard Sales twice weekly private sales other agent sales and clearing sales.
- Attending sale days when required both at the saleyards and on farm at Stud Sales.
- Provide professional and timely customer service to existing and prospective clients.
- Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts relevant to all Livestock transactions.
- Performing branch administrative tasks including accounts payable expenses banking mail distribution and general office duties.
- Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts including reconciliation and debt collection
- This role includes a rotating Saturday roster (one Saturday in every three months).

- Previous experience in an administrative or team support role
- A proactive approach and strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear and confident verbal communication skills with the ability to build long term customer relationships
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer focused mindset
- Livestock knowledge (cattle and/or sheep) - advantageous but not essential
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify better ways of working
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook (SAP experience desirable but training provided)
- The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player
