This is a high-visibility leadership role where you will manage the maintenance operations for four distinct properties including a high-profile flagship 4-star hotel.
This isnt just about maintaining buildings; its about managing a cluster ecosystem. You will balance hands-on technical expertise with high-level cost control sustainability initiatives and team leadership across the city.
Your Strategic Impact
Multi-Site Leadership: Youll direct mentor and develop Maintenance Assistants across four sites planning their daily workflows and ensuring excellence is consistent across the board.
Flagship Oversight: Take pride in managing a prestigious 4-star property ensuring it remains a benchmark for quality and safety.
Compliance & Safety: Own the statutory Health & Safety checks and paperwork ensuring every property is not just functional but fully compliant.
Project Management: Plan and execute maintenance projects and refurbishments that enhance the guest experience and property value.
Vendor & Cost Control: Liaise with contractors secure competitive quotes and manage supplies to keep operations lean and efficient.
What You Bring to the Portfolio
The Experience: At least 5 years of maintenance experience within the hospitality sector. Multi-site experience is essential.
Technical Mastery: Vocational training (ideally in Plumbing or Electrics) with a deep understanding of HVAC lifts and preventative maintenance systems.
The General Mindset: Exceptional organisation and delegation skills. You can prioritise a complex varied workload across different postcodes.
Flexibility: You understand the 24/7 nature of hospitality and are comfortable with regular overnight stays to ensure building integrity.
Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal) and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Reporting systems.
