Job Summary
Maintenance Technician
Description of the role:
As a Maintenance Technician at Neulife Rehabilitation you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities on weekends. Your primary goal will be to ensure a safe and functional environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and repairs of equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Maintain and repair fixtures furniture and other physical structures.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical plumbing and HVAC systems.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Rotating Weekends
