Reports To: Farm Manager

The primary responsibility of this individual is to maintain the overall health and well-being of the animals. To provide quality care for the large animals at Lampire have good communication with management and consistent accurate documentation.

3.0 Position Requirements:

Note: Qualifications are based upon education resume and/or work experience.

3.1 2 years or more of animal related experience.

3.2 The ability to lift 50lbs or more on a regular basis.

3.3 Good oral and written communication skills (English).

3.4 The ability to work alone and complete assigned tasks.

3.5 Must have a valid drivers license.

3.6 Must be able to work rotating or occasional holidays and weekends.

3.7 Ability to perform all work and interact with others in a safe and responsible manner.

4.0 Essential Function Include (but are not limited to):

4.1 Animal care when scheduled to work.

4.2 The ability to lift 50lbs or more on a regular basis.

4.3 Maintain animal living areas.

4.4 Document findings and job completions in the required logs.

4.5 Other duties as assigned.

5.0 Education:

5.1 High school diploma or equivalent required.

6.0 Physical Requirements:

6.1 This position is very active and requires standing walking bending kneeling stooping and crouching at various times throughout the day.

6.2 The employee will need to be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

7.0 Working Conditions:

7.1 While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to extremes in temperature and occasionally farm equipment. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can vary from minimal to loud.

7.2 While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently standing walking and sitting.
