Clinical Contracting Coordinator

Job Summary
This position is a 100% remote work arrangement consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. The Contracting Coordinator is responsible for supporting and collaborating with OSP staff PIs and sponsors in a fast-paced high-volume team environment facilitating various sponsored research functionalities. Duties include but not limited to: - Daily monitoring and review of contract submissions in the ALICE system for completeness accuracy and classification as well as finalizing the submission for assignment within the ALICE system. - Project setup for funded contracts including management of compliance requirements and budget accuracy. - Continual monitoring of the OSP Contracting email inbox and triaging as needed. - Providing acknowledgement receipt or response to inquiry within 48 hours of email receipt escalating issues to Managers and Contracting Officers as needed and appropriate. - Identify and provide feedback on any areas that may benefit from process improvement that the coordinator identified in the course of job duties. - Ability to provide back-up for Contracting Coordinators from other Contracting Teams as needed. - Support Contracting Managers with other duties as assigned.
